MC NOW Endorsement

The Montgomery County chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW) enthusiastically endorses Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin's and Congressman Robert Andrews' Resolution to "remove the deadline for ratification and clarify that upon ratification by three additional states, the Equal Rights Amendment will be added to the United States Constitution."

NOW has supported and actively fought for the ERA for more than 30 years to ensure women's Constitutional rights; in 2010 our chapter endorsed the effort to remove the deadline for ratification.
